Corn Dogs (Mini) by Michelle Wiles


Ingredients
2/3 CUPS FLOUR

1/3 CUP CORNMEAL

3 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER

1 TEASPOON SALT

3 TABLESPOONS COLD BUTTER

1 TABLESPOON CRISCO

1 EGG

3/4 CUPS MILK

24 LIL’ SMOKIES

Directions
COMBINE THE FIRST 4 INGREDIENTS.

CUT IN BUTTER AND CRISCO UNTIL IT FORMS CRUMBS.

BEAT EGG AND MILK. STIR INTO THE DRY INGREDIENTS UNTIL IT FORMS A SMALL BALL OF DOUGH.

KNEAD THE DOUGH ON A FLOURED SURFACE 6 TO 8 TIMES.

ROLL OUT ¼ INCH THICK AND CUT WITH A BISCUIT CUTTER.

FOLD DOUGH AROUND EACH SMOKIE. PRESS EDGES TO SEAL.

PLACE ON A GREASED BAKING SHEET. BAKE AT 450 FOR 10-12 MINUTES.
