An accumulation of small acts and gestures makes up an entire day. An encouraging word to a harried store clerk, a smile to a stranger, or a sincere "thank you" to a service provider are just a few things that help me avoid social guilt. And, as a blogger, I do extend the courtesy of return visits and comments. Those acknowledge that another human being has value in my sight, and allows me to show the world that a Christian woman is thoughtful and kind.
