Unbelievable Love

1 Corinthians 2:9 “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.” (NLT)

“Too good to be true.” Have you ever received news that fell into that category? More often than not it might be, “So bad I don’t want to hear it.” Such as when the doctor comes in and says, “I’ve got some bad news,” or “I need to send you to a specialist.” Or when the certified letter arrives saying more surgery is required. We prefer the “Your cancer is in remission” news. Sin is the greatest sickness with the most devastating results. It corrupts us presently and eternally. But only if we reject God’s forgiveness in Christ. When we receive that the news is too good to be true. He wipes the slate clean and casts our sins as far as the East is from the West. We can’t even imagine the abundant life God has in store for us now and in eternity.
